Bartalus, Istvan


Bartalus Stephen (Bálványosváralja, 1821st Nov. 23 – Budapest, 1899. 9 February) Hungarian music teacher and music historian, folk song collector.

He studied law in Cluj, humanities and theology, and at the same time there was also a pupil of the Conservatory. 1843 to zsibói Wesselényi house music educator was zongoratanításból lived since 1846 in Cluj.
