Baron Vasily Georgiyevich Wrangel (1862–1901) was a Russian composer who studied composition with Yuly Johansen at the Saint Petersburg Conservatory, graduating in 1890. He composed a symphony, orchestral suites, ballets, chamber music, and numerous romances, and served as editor of the musical journal Nuvellist from 1898 to 1899. His music reflects the Russian Romantic tradition of the late nineteenth century.
